About this record
Four-track acid/electro/techno EP that's already hunting hard on the secondhand circuit - 214 wants on Discogs and climbing. We're partial to the title track, Range Of Strange, which sits at the heart of what makes this Persona release essential.
Nathan Pinder operates in that generous space between acid house, electro and techno where function and experimentation aren't mutually exclusive. These are tracks built on restless energy: taut drum programming, modular detours, and the kind of production clarity that rewards repeated listening on a proper system.
Persona's second outing lands exactly where it should - raw enough to work the floor, detailed enough to justify the dig. Pressed to 12" vinyl at 33 ⅓. If you've been missing this one, now's the time.
