About this record
A trippy and shadowy journey through leftfield techno and off-centre club territories. Pletnev navigates murky production and disorienting arrangements across this EP, pulling from prog trance and tech house without settling into either - instead carving out something distinctly oblique and absorbing.
Chat Noir Hors-serie #3 sits comfortably within the label's appetite for deeper, stranger club sounds. The release maintains momentum without ever feeling straightforward, rewarding close listening and late-night exploration in equal measure. Not an easy play, but a necessary one.
