Shadowmages

Ekkel and S.O.N.S are Shadowmages. Trance-influenced techno steppers. Rare stuff. One per customer.

Midnight Sun arrives on Junction Forest as a masterclass in progressive trance architecture - the kind of record that rewires your understanding of what happens when trance DNA splices with techno's structural rigour. These are steppers in the truest sense: tracks that move with deliberate momentum, building depth through layered sequences and hypnotic progression rather than surface-level spectacle.

Shadowmages operate in that rare territory where accessibility and experimentation coexist. The production is clean, the grooves are locked, but there's an underlying strangeness that keeps you listening deeper with each spin. This is the sort of release that justifies keeping vinyl in rotation - music that demands the ritual of dropping the needle and sitting with it for the full duration.
