About this record
Deep, techy, minimal vinyl-only cut. MJOG strips house back to its essentials on Drust - four tracks of precise, understated production that rewards patient listening. This is music for the booth and the head in equal measure, built on crisp drums, deliberate synth placement, and the kind of negative space that defines serious minimal house.
Ethernal continues its run of considered releases with catalogue number ETHERNAL007. MJOG works within the constraints of the format - vinyl only, no digital distractions - which seems fitting for work this intentional. Drust sits somewhere between the clinical and the hypnotic, the kind of record that sounds right at 3am and still holds up in daylight.
