Milès Borghese

Four tracks that shift between tech house peaks and dubby, minimal dub techno. Checkpoint hits hard with that peak-time energy, but it's Dub 4 where this EP really lands - deep, spacious, hypnotic. The kind of track that justifies a whole record.

Milès Borghese steers clear of obvious moves here. There's precision in the production and restraint in the arrangement. Tech house doesn't need to shout, and on It's Just, it doesn't. Instead you get locked-in grooves, plenty of headroom, and that sense of navigating a dark dub space.

Griffé, the Paris-based imprint behind this, has built a reputation for releasing music that works the margins - neither full techno nor house, but something with its own logic. This is exactly that. 45 RPM pressing, 12 inches. Built for the booth, built to breathe.
