About this record
Built to shake dark sweaty basements as well as ignite those big warehouse raves, this record is pure dance floor weaponry. Mella Dee's Steady Movin' cuts through the noise with minimal precision, stripping back UK garage and techno to their most lethal components.
SlapFunk Records has consistently championed that stripped-down, functional approach to production, and this release sits perfectly in that lineage. Mella Dee knows how to construct tension across a twelve-minute set closer, where a single filtered synth or kick pattern shift becomes a conversation with the crowd.
Whether you're holding it for that peak moment or riding it through the early hours, Steady Movin' rewards the kind of DJ who understands restraint as much as drama.
