Proper quite dark Rominimal underground stuff, where every elements sits right and the arrangement just flows thru the heavy use of LFOs moving every little element in the composition. YARN Records presents its ninth vinyl release, inspired by a connection formed in 2025 at the Rat Camp private gathering in Bulgaria. It was there that the label met the NOTYOURTYPE crew, sharing the idea of translating the spirit of that unique experience onto vinyl. The result is a collaborative release featuring contributions from Enivrèz Vous, Dryspirit, Jarzz and GAZ (Getsu & Zlatin). Bringing together creativity, friendship and a shared underground ethos, the record reflects the atmosphere that inspired the project from the very beginning. (Actually not from Romania. But sounds like it.)

This release surprised me, and I surprised myself a lot by liking it so much. It’s overall a lot darker than the stuff I usually go for. Gorgeous spooky melodies on A1, and B1 is like walking through a labyrinth of texture, a true sound design godsend.

About this record
Fresh minimal VA on Jena's YARN Records, ninth release on the label. Four tracks inspired by Bulgaria's Rat Camp gathering. For the heads.
YARN continues its run of stripped-back, idea-led house and techno with this second instalment of A Feeling That We Share. The label has built a quiet reputation for finding artists who understand the space between notes, the weight of silence, the architecture of a three-minute loop. This one carries the spirit of Rat Camp - that gathering in the Bulgarian countryside where people come to think clearly and move deliberately.
Minimal in the truest sense: restless, patient, built for 4am clarity rather than peak-time spectacle.
