Tagir

Groove-led minimal/tech house EP from Germany-based Tagir on Berlin's black.round.twelve, third release on the label. This is the kind of record that works equally well in the booth and at home, built on locked-in rhythms that reward repeated listens.

Tagir understands economy of space. The tracks here strip house music back to its essentials - precise drums, textured basslines, minimal synth movements that breathe rather than clutter. It's the sound of someone thinking through production carefully, letting grooves develop naturally rather than piling on layers. Black.round.twelve continues to establish itself as a label that knows what it wants, and this EP sits comfortably within their aesthetic while giving Tagir room to develop his own voice.

Four tracks of solid, unadorned house music for people who actually listen.
