SlapFunk Records

SlapFunk Records is a Dutch label built around raw house music, run as a collective with its own party series and podcast, the SlapCast, alongside the vinyl. The sound sits where deep, stripped-back house meets minimal and techno, with a bassy, unpolished edge and a clear soft spot for UK garage weight.

The label was founded in 2011 and in the fifteen years since then the sound has developed in a more minimal direction. Diggers often describe Slapfunk's archive as "a goldmine". In 2024, a sublabel, SlapCutz records spun out.

The label also runs the sub-label SlapCutz and puts on parties across Amsterdam and beyond.
