About this record
Slamming deep Chicago house. Four tracks on Houseworx from Córdoba's Lucianno Villarreal.
Villarreal cuts straight to it here - no filler, no compromise. Head Tracks is exactly what the title suggests: functional, stripped-back deep house that moves bodies on the dancefloor. The Houseworx imprint has always specialised in this kind of no-nonsense approach, and Villarreal's Argentinian perspective on Chicago's legacy translates into something both respectful and distinctly his own.
This is house music in its purest form: stripped drums, cavernous basslines, and just enough melodic restraint to keep things hypnotic rather than decorative. Four tracks that work as a whole, built for DJs who know what they're doing.
