Killer DJs

Killer DJs, killer tracks. This four-tracker from Montreal's DustWORLD camp moves between house and techno with sharp breakbeat edits and ambient interludes - the kind of restless, futuristic production that defined the label's output around 2020. The crew's gear-driven approach pushes beyond straight dancefloor logic; there's real texture and space in these cuts, moments where the rhythm dissolves into something altogether stranger.

DustWORLD has always operated in that productive grey area between underground Toronto and Montreal house culture, and The Killer EP sits comfortably in their catalogue of experimental, hardware-informed work. If you're familiar with the label's ethos - playful but serious, technical but not sterile - you'll find yourself in familiar territory here. Four tracks that reward close listening on the system and work equally well in the mix.
