About this record
Electro-infused prog and deep house debut from Berlin-based Aussie Jad & The on Shall Not Fade's Seasons Series. Limited red marbled vinyl.
Jad & The brings a distinctly personal take to deep house - one that privileges movement and narrative arc over pure groove. These four tracks navigate the space between prog sensibilities and the warm, enveloping weight of proper deep house, with electro textures threading through the backbone. It's a record that rewards close listening but never loses sight of the dancefloor.
Shall Not Fade's Seasons Series has become essential listening for anyone serious about contemporary house music released outside the usual commercial channels. This debut sits naturally alongside that catalogue's commitment to artists who think structurally about their sound. Jad & The's Australian roots paired with Berlin residency gives the EP a particular geographic and cultural fluency - it's music that understands both hemispheres. Limited red marbled pressing.
