About this record
Five heavy house cuts leaning toward techno from Huxley on Shall Not Fade's Basement Tracks sub-label. This is some of his darkest work yet, and it lands on one of the UK's most consistent labels with a roster that knows exactly what it's doing.
Huxley's been operating in that shadowy space between house and techno for years - his Saints & Sonnets work speaks to that - but here he pushes deeper into the murk. These tracks have weight. They're not designed to lift you up; they're designed to pull you down into something heavier, more hypnotic. Shall Not Fade's Basement Tracks series has become essential for anyone who wants their house with genuine edge and no compromise.
A proper late-night record. The kind you play when you've already committed to the darkness.
