Honeydrop aka DJ Honesty

Atmospheric, dubby house and techno from DJ Honesty. Free at Last finds Honeydrop working in that liminal space between deep house and techno, where reverb-laden pads drift over stripped-back percussion and the low end breathes like something alive. This is music for 4am, for listening alone or in a dark room with strangers who get it.

Honeydrop's production here is patient and spatial - nothing rushed, nothing wasted. The dub sensibility sits at the core: plenty of space around each element, effects deployed with restraint, frequencies given room to resonate. It's the kind of record that rewards repeated plays, revealing new details in the arrangement each time.

Sakskøbing continue their run of thoughtful, uncompromising releases with this one. A proper EP for serious listeners and DJs alike.
