About this record
Original mix of Quo Vadis is a real classic - proper house and techno crossover that's been circulating in serious collections for years. This vinyl release pairs it with a Frank Kusserow remix that's never seen vinyl before, giving the track fresh dimension without losing what made the original work in the first place.
G-Man's approach sits in that sweet spot between stripped-back techno and deep house sensibility - minimal arrangement but maximum impact. The original has that quality of tracks that get played across formats: just as comfortable on a basement sound system as it is in a more cerebral club context.
Back To Life continues their A&R focus on reissuing and properly presenting material that deserves to be heard on wax. BTL020 is essential for anyone who values durability and depth over flash.
