About this record
Late-run house four-tracker from Fresh Fruit Records, the Dutch imprint that channelled serious NL club heat throughout the 90s. Fruit 019 captures the label in its final chapter - four tracks of propulsive, intelligent house that sits comfortably between the harder tech variants without sacrificing dancefloor logic.
Fresh Tunes work with the economical precision that defined the better Dutch releases of this era: stripped-back synths, locked-in drums, and the kind of understated groove that demands repeated plays rather than immediate gratification. This is club music built to work rather than impress.
For collectors of late-90s Dutch house and anyone tracking Fresh Fruit's arc from early decade vibrancy through to these final statements. A solid record that rewards the attention house music asks of its audience.
