About this record
Classic inbetween progressive and tech house approach. DJ Life threads the needle between both disciplines on this five-track EP for R.A.N.D. Muzik x Echocentric, finding space where the architectures of prog and the physicality of tech house meet without compromise.
The tracks pivot between deeper, hypnotic builds and sharper, more direct percussion work. There's restraint here - the kind that comes from understanding both worlds rather than trying to straddle them. Breakwork surfaces naturally; synth layers accumulate with purpose rather than excess.
A solid addition to the deeper end of the current tech house conversation, and exactly the kind of release that makes sense at SEVEN.
