About this record
Three tracks of dub chords and relentless basslines from DJ Balduin's own Mountebank Scientific label. Music for DJs who know when the time is right.
Balduin operates in that zone where house and techno converge, building pressure through stripped-back arrangements and deep low-end work. The Seasun EP is a study in restraint and control - each element placed with purpose, each track designed to sit comfortably in the pocket once you've earned the space for it.
Leipzig's Mountebank Scientific continues its run of considered, durational electronic music. This is an EP for listening and DJing in equal measure.
