Dauwd

Five clever reinterpretations of the third release on Dauwd's label. DJ Plead, Huerta and Aubrey all turn in stellar remixes along with 2 new remixes from Dauwd himself.

Dauwd's Psssh Records has quietly built a reputation for thoughtful house cuts that favour texture and detail over obvious crowd-pleasing. This remix edition pulls in some seriously capable hands to deconstruct and rebuild the original material. The result is a set that moves fluidly between tribal percussion, tech-house efficiency and breaksy experimentation - proof that a good track rewards multiple interpretations when the remixers actually understand the source material.

A release that rewards repeated listening and works equally well as reference material for producers or pure listening pleasure. Solid house that doesn't shout about itself.
