About this record
German house veteran Cinthie lands on Shall Not Fade for their 60th release, and it's a solid one. Four tracks of deep and post-disco-flecked house that sits exactly where you'd want it to - grounded, grooved, and built for the room rather than the algorithm. Offenbach Anthem is the standout, a proper anthem that earns the name.
Cinthie's been a fixture in the Berlin underground for years, and this EP shows why. She knows how to construct a track that breathes, that lets space and texture do the heavy lifting alongside the beat. Shall Not Fade, hitting their 60th release with this one, continues their knack for signing artists who understand that deep house doesn't need to shout to land.
Four cuts of the kind of house music that rewards repeated listening. Pressing details: 12 inch, 33 and a third, EP format.
