About this record
Minimal techy approach and quirky, bleepy sounds throughout - this is the kind of record that rewards close listening and works harder the more you dig into it. Trabilish, squelchy, and built for the booth, Global Tribal is a must-have tool for anyone serious about tech house and minimal.
Bass Cab strips things back to essentials here: tight drums, clever synth work that sits just on the edge of playful, and enough texture in the low-end to keep things grounded. Cabinet Records continues to champion this kind of thoughtful, functional approach to dance music - music that works on the floor but respects the intelligence of both the DJ and the dancefloor.
A solid addition to any tech house or minimal collection, and the kind of record that sounds better each time you play it.
