Classica, chuggy, soulful deep house drifters on Cabinet, with jazz and soul tendencies. This is music for connoisseurs.

Goodies High 5 EP finds Cabinet Records exploring the deeper, more textured end of the house spectrum. These are tracks built on groove fundamentals rather than novelty - soulful progressions, warm synth work, and the kind of rhythmic intelligence that rewards repeated listening. The jazz and soul touches aren't affectation; they're woven into the fabric of each piece, giving weight and character to what could otherwise be formulaic deep house.

Cabinet continues its steady march as one of the more thoughtful independent imprints, prioritising substance and musicianship across their roster. If your tastes run toward the introspective side of house music - the kind that sounds as good at 2am in a proper listening room as it does on the dancefloor - this five-track EP merits your attention.
