Architectural

Juan Rico returns as Architectural with his second EP on Amsterdam's Delsin, and this one sidesteps the obvious peaks entirely. Limited to 100 copies on crystal clear vinyl, Liminal Dancery operates in the stranger territory where techno gets properly weird - psychedelic, hypnotic, built for sustained focus rather than the drop. This is what happens when a Spanish techno icon decides the dancefloor doesn't need to be conventional.

Rico's Architectural project sits apart from his more recognised output, allowing room for experiments that wouldn't fit elsewhere. Delsin remains one of the few labels genuinely invested in pushing techno's textures rather than its templates, and this release confirms that commitment.

Expect mechanical precision wrapped around genuinely strange rhythmic ideas. Not functional. Not obvious. Built for the kind of night where the room stops looking at watches.
