A bit of disco, a bit of italo, a bit of cheeeese on Luigi Di Venere's Philoxenia Records. Our friend Andre Zimmer does it again, showcasing a wide range of musical knowledge and productions venturing in different directions. This man does it all. The Massimiliano Pagliara remix on the flip adds another dimension, pushing things into deeper, more exploratory territory.

About this record

Fresh 2026 house and disco from Canadian producer André Zimmer on Philoxenia. 'Simphony Style' is the standout track here - it's got everything we love about contemporary house music built on proper dancefloor sensibility. The Massimiliano Pagliara remix on the flip adds another dimension, pushing things into deeper, more exploratory territory.

Zimmer's approach sits somewhere between the precision of modern production and the warmth of analogue-era disco aesthetics. The EP feels both current and timeless, structured around grooves that reward repeated listening on the system. Philoxenia continues to curate intelligently across house and related genres, and this sits comfortably in their catalogue.

A solid addition to the shelves for anyone tracking contemporary house production with soul.
