Back once again. This one is coming live and direct from Baltimore in the mid 90s. It is the second and final part of the Gargoyle Classics reissues and it's packed full of juicy juicy dance floor goodness.

Alienage's second instalment pulls from the vault of Gargoyle Records, that legendary Baltimore imprint that helped define the city's own particular strain of acid-informed breakbeat techno. These tracks hit different at 45 RPM - the extra weight and clarity in the low end, the space between the breaks. This is material built for rooms where people actually move.

Holding Hands have done right by these reissues, treating the originals with proper respect rather than remastering them into something unrecognizable. What you get is what made those records work in the first place: stripped-back production, acidic synth lines that know when to twist the knife, and breakbeats that still sound hungry.
