About this record
UK bleep-techno cult cut, originally 1990 on Bassic. This Outer Rhythm reissue presents both sides identical - a raw, stripped-back approach that lets the hypnotic pressure of the original breathe without variation.
Ability II's Pressure Dub sits at the intersection of early 90s UK rave culture and Detroit techno minimalism. The track builds through relentless, modular sequences and sub-bass weight, characteristic of the bleep sound that defined Sheffield and the broader UK underground at that moment.
Outer Rhythm's decision to press both sides the same speaks to the track's singular power - no remix required, no B-side needed. Essential reissue for serious collectors and anyone tracing the lineage of UK house and techno through its most crucial decade.
