Per Hammar

Per Hammar has played Horoom at Bassiani in Tbilisi.

Techy, driving, dubby, sophisticated and very unique are words that describes Per Hammar's sound best.

Since 2004 he is mastering the art of dub-driven melodic techno and house. The Swedish producer, sound engineer and DJ moves in the underground for years with several outstanding releases on labels like Sushitech, such as his Generation Drive album and more recently Kalahari Oyster Cult and Cragie Knowes.

On his own Dirty Hands label he pushes a similar sound, showcasing his musical vision through self-releases and names like, Edvin Wikner, Polder & Anton Pieete.

Another interesting in-house project is Per himself together with Ukrainian artist Olga Korol. In the studio and behind the decks they generate a magnetic energy, blending her minimal, rolling grooves with Per’s dusty, driving beats. Their on-stage chemistry produces a seamless yet exciting flow that showcases their individual styles.

On record that need to be named here as well and never leaves mojo's and CRYME's bag is the 3x12" LP called "Pathfinder" from 2020. The album was crafted in the pandemic with a Eurorack Modular system plus weirder bits of gear, like old Soviet drum machines, resulting in a unique sound design approach.
