Amazing record, deep, soulful, with little fun nuances. The italo B-side adds a highlight to every set.

About this record
Tibi Dabo's debut on Pillow Planet is a deep, soulful piece of work - the kind of record that rewards close listening. There's real craft here: minimal frameworks that breathe, allowing small details to surface naturally. The A-side sits comfortably in that tech house pocket where restraint becomes its own kind of energy.
What makes this release special is the B-side. That italo-inflected cut is the highlight - a moment of genuine colour and warmth that adds real character to any DJ set. It's the kind of flip that reminds you why you dig vinyl in the first place.
Tibi Dabo understands that minimal and tech house work best when they're not trying too hard. This is music with space in it, music that knows when to hold back. Essential from Pillow Planet's opening chapter.
