About this record
Fun but serious tech house that's proven dancefloor material. This is a limited series for the crate diggers - the kind of record you'll want to own before it's gone.
Tibi Dabo delivers exactly what Kann Records does best: stripped-back, propulsive tech house that sits somewhere between playfulness and surgical precision. The tracks on KANN55X58EINS have that rare quality of sounding both immediately engaging and genuinely interesting on repeated plays. There's enough detail in the production to reward close listening, but the groove is direct enough that it works without thinking.
Kann Records has built a reputation for releasing records that travel well between different rooms and different DJs. This EP fits that ethos perfectly - functional without being formulaic, technical without being cold.
