About this record
Sweely opens his own label with woozy, sensual house that demands your attention. Blending G-funk-tinted synths with rolling rhythms and a strong emotional pull, the Erasmus DJ EP is the kind of record that shouldn't be slept on. Display inaugural release.
Sweely's approach here sits comfortably in that space where tech house and house collide without pretension - the synths have warmth, the drums have pocket, and there's a palpable sense of intention running through each track. This is craft-minded production that still moves bodies on the floor.
A proper debut statement for Display and exactly the kind of considered, textured house music that SEVEN stocks.
