Sep

Sep's debut on doddub, the Depth Over Distance imprint, arrives as a strictly limited run of 150 hand-stamped copies. These are pure modular one-take jams captured raw in the Netherlands during 2021 - no overdubs, no safety net, just real-time synthesis discipline.

What you're hearing is Sep working the modular rig as a single instrument, letting patches drift and breathe across extended dub and minimal techno frameworks. The results sit in that sweet spot between drift and purpose, where the hypnotic repetition of deep house and dub come alive through the unpredictability of analogue synthesis. Each pressing is numbered and stamped by hand, a gesture that reflects the handmade philosophy throughout.

This is essential listening for anyone serious about modular synthesis and its place in underground electronic music. Finite, uncompromising, and built to last.
