About this record
Repress alert. This is the Villalobos & Washington Miranda collab on Hearing Colours - two tracks cut over a decade ago that have already become classics. En Suma is our pick, a masterclass in tension and release across just under nine minutes.
Recorded long before this 2023 repress saw light, these are the kind of cuts that reward repeated listening - stripped-back minimal house frameworks built on restraint and precision. Villalobos knows how to make space work harder than noise, and these tracks sit deep in that territory.
HC004 represents what Hearing Colours does best: timeless material that doesn't need the gloss. If you've been sleeping on this one, now's the time.
