About this record
Fresh debut from c.dar records, the new label co-founded by Olson and DJ Ohm Groan. Four solo cuts plus a collaboration with IO, all cut from the same cloth - minimalistic, sophisticated tech house that moves with intent rather than flash.
Olson brings Belgian roots sensibility to the project, paired with Ohm Groan's considered approach to rhythm and texture. This is tech house built on restraint: stripped-back percussion, considered synth work, the kind of record that reveals itself over repeated plays rather than announcing itself on first spin.
A strong opening statement for c.dar records. Proper underground house for the heads.
