About this record
Highly versatile and genuinely unique, this EP balances house and dubbed-out breakbeats with an early morning sensibility that rewards patient listening. It's the kind of record that works across contexts without ever feeling like it's trying too hard. Limited hand-stamped press of 250 copies.
Mozes Meijer approaches the dancefloor from leftfield - treating lo-fi production and dubwise echoes as features rather than limitations. Sprookjesbos debut with a fresh take on experimental club music that sits somewhere between hypnotic repetition and rhythmic fragmentation. These aren't tracks built for peak-time hammer; they're built for understanding.
A solid introduction to the label and a reminder that the best contemporary house music doesn't always arrive polished or obvious.
