About this record
Laidback, weird, quirky - but still driving enough to keep the afterhours awake. Jay Tripwire and Danny Miller delve deep into highly textured, exquisitely detailed minimal arrangements that feel both playful and hypnotic.
Greasy Grooves lives in that awkward, brilliant space where minimal tech-house gets strange without losing the groove. The production is meticulous; every synth, every filtered loop, every percussive detail sits exactly where it needs to. Nothing flashy, nothing obvious - just the kind of record that rewards close listening and repeated spins on the dancefloor.
Afterhours continues its reputation for patient, considered releases. This is underground house music for people who actually listen.
