Mella Dee

Mella Dee returns to Gradient with four twisted, dark rollers that sit somewhere between hard drum energy and spangle-core attitude. 'Hard Drum' is the standout — all bleeps, bass and menace. This Doncaster legend knows how to build a record that rewards repeated plays, and this EP does exactly that across its four tracks.

G004 finds Dee working in the harder, more fractured end of tech house, where industrial percussion meets club clarity. The production is clean but never polished, each element precisely placed to create maximum impact on the dancefloor. If you've been following Gradient's output, you'll know they're building something distinct in the underground — and this sits right at its centre.
