Marvin Aloys

Limited edition tech house track that deserves to be called a modern classic, paired with a DJ Hell remix that strips the original down to its essentials. This is the kind of record that justifies pressing it to vinyl - it rewards repeated listening on a proper system.

Marvin Aloys builds something genuinely compelling here. The original moves with precision, all locked grooves and intelligent use of space. It's the sound of someone who understands that tech house works best when it breathes, when there's room for the kick and bass to actually occupy the mix rather than fight for attention. DJ Hell's take proves the strength of the foundation; his version pares things back further, letting the essential elements speak louder.

Time Passages X launches with this one, and it's a statement of intent. Both cuts sit at the sweet spot between dancefloor functionality and genuine musicality - the kind of record that works equally well as a four-to-the-floor moment and as something worth studying on headphones. Limited pressing, 12", both 33 and 45 RPM cuts included.
