Mardel

Deep, trippy, minimal electro cuts. For deep space exploration. Mardel strips back the excess on Awakening EP, constructing four pieces of pure propulsion from sparse synth lines, floating rhythmic frameworks, and the kind of careful silence that makes every element count. This is electro house that trusts the listener - no bombast, no shortcuts, just the hypnotic architecture of minimal sound.

Carpet & Snares continues its run of thoughtful, exploratory releases with this one. Mardel's approach sits somewhere between the precision of early 80s electro and the patient unfolding of contemporary deep house, all rendered in that liminal space where club music becomes something more meditative. Designed for the late set, the long journey, the kind of night where the music becomes architecture.
