About this record
Eden is back with another (un)holy 4-track EP on Public Possession. The Big Beat Manifesto series continues with balearic-infused prog house weapons that sit somewhere between peak-time hypnosis and meditative groove. These are tracks built for depth and duration - the kind that reward patient listening and sustained club play alike.
Eden Burns has consistently delivered on Public Possession's vision of prog house that doesn't shy away from weight and presence. This installment pushes further into textural territory, layering atmospheric elements over muscular low-end foundation. The balearic influence surfaces as a warmth and melodic sensibility rather than direct signposting - it's integrated into the sound rather than applied as aesthetic.
BBM XI is essential for anyone tracking the current trajectory of contemporary house music that respects both the dancefloor and the ear. Four cuts of uncompromising craft.
