About this record
This one's already made waves at P-Bar - word is it's blown the roof off more than once. DJ City's I Need arrives as a standout that moves fluidly across Italo, club and beatless territory, refusing to sit still in any one pocket.
Public Possession continues its reliable run of house records that feel lived-in rather than polished. DJ City threads together lush, synth-led passages with the kind of groove that works equally well in a late-night set or on headphones. The record rewards close listening: there's architecture here, not just dancefloor mechanics.
A solid addition to the Public Possession catalogue and a reminder why this label remains essential listening for anyone serious about contemporary house.
