DJ Nobu

Nobu's second fabric Originals release maps four foundational states of Buddhist practice onto a techno framework. Each track channels one of the Brahmavihāras - Muditā (joy), Karuṇā (compassion), Mettā (loving-kindness), and Upekkhā (equanimity) - as a spiritual and emotional waypoint across the LP.

The Tokyo-based producer has always worked at the intersection of meditative precision and club intensity. Here, that philosophy takes explicit form: intricate IDM breakdowns sit alongside sustained techno grooves, each element placed with intention rather than bombast. Shō feels less like a statement and more like a passage - four movements designed to shift your inner state as much as your body.

fabric Originals continues its run of uncompromising artists with this reissue of a work that refuses easy categorization. Techno that thinks, IDM that moves. Perfect for the 3am moment when the dance floor becomes something closer to a meditation hall.
