CRYME’s Staff Pick
DJ Merlin I like this. Proggy textured rich swompy stompers will def set the dance floor to a frog valley lol plus this Dirt Bubble (Dnb) is just nuts

About this record
Three original cuts from DJ Merlín, plus one collaboration with Adam Pits. This is primal rhythm meeting hypnotic texture - prog energy and experimental intensity woven into a single statement. The kind of record that shifts from floor-focused tech house into something more abstract and immersive without ever losing its grip.
Merlín works in that particular space where minimal doesn't mean sparse, where the reduction of elements becomes an invitation to explore depth. Paired with the textural experiments of the Pelican Dub imprint, these tracks sit somewhere between industrial minimalism and psychedelic techno - they breathe, they sustain, they demand attention through repetition and detail rather than spectacle.
A serious 12" for serious ears. Play it loud, play it long.
