Ation Rop, Iceman MK

This one is actually fun, warm, close to the heart and just very, very, very good. Ation Rop and Iceman MK have crafted something that sits comfortably between playfulness and substance - the kind of record that rewards repeated listens without demanding your full attention every time.

Digital Memories lands on The Transient Nature Of The Disco Business with the label's characteristic blend of leftfield sensibility and dancefloor pragmatism. The electro and house foundation here is solid, but it's the execution - the little decisions in arrangement, the warmth in the synths, the way these two producers understand space and restraint - that makes this EP stand out.

Four tracks of tech-house and electro that feel genuinely considered rather than formulaic. The kind of release that belongs on the shelf next to records you actually want to hear again.
