About this record
Great LP for the DJ bag. Only high functional dancefloor heaters from Romania. Watch out for upcoming parts.
Andrei Ciubuc delivers a focused first instalment of what promises to be a substantial trilogy. These are lean, purposeful cuts built for the booth - minimal tech house that knows exactly what it wants to do and does it without fuss. The production is clean and intentional, tracks that sit comfortably in a set but carry enough personality to hold their own.
Playedby continues to stake out territory in contemporary minimal and tech house, and this LP reinforces their eye for material that works. First of three parts; worth keeping track of where this goes.
