About this record
Tip! Sold Out Andre Zimmer on his own imprint. Showcasing the facettes of modern house on a versatile record.
Zimmer's Saved My Life EP is exactly that kind of release - a four-tracker that refuses easy categorisation. Acid textures bleed into breakbeat swing, progressive elements drift into pure house grooves. It's the sound of someone comfortable enough in their own space to follow instinct rather than formula.
Big Trouble Records continues its run of thoughtful, texture-rich house music. This is a record that rewards repeated listens; each play reveals new detail in the production, new rhythmic angles. Solid work from an artist who clearly knows what he's doing.
