About this record
Repress alert. Serious tech house classic originally on Delirium U.S.A. in 1998, remastered and back on black vinyl via Only One Music. Grab it fast. Play it loud.
ACME's 'Things Of Life' stands as one of the era's most propulsive tech house statements - restless, hypnotic, built for the 4am moment when the floor is primed and the DJ's got the room locked. This remaster captures the original's relentless energy: taut kick drums, layered synth work, and that particular late-90s Detroit-to-Berlin sensibility that made the track essential in clubs across Europe.
Only One Music's decision to bring this back now speaks to the durability of properly crafted tech house. Twenty years on, the record hasn't dated. It's the kind of reissue that exists because DJs and collectors never stopped playing it.
