Sex Tapes From Mars

Sex Tapes From Mars is a British vinyl-only curated by Elon Dust.

Musically, two strands run through it. First is a reissue series digging up obscure 90s material: Bassland's Nine / Deeper collects tracks recorded in 1996 around the LA illegal rave and desert party circuit. Some of these survived on tape and have been remastered for release, while Zulu Matrix's Hyperspace is a 1994 Canadian trance record reissued with the original Supernova Mix and new B-side edits from S.O.N.S and Tommy of Zulu Matrix.

The other strand is new music, like Latent's Neurodancer EP, four tracks moving between breakbeat, electro, house and left-field electronics.

Techno, trance, electro, breaks and ambient, handled with a light touch and no reverence.
