Danny Wabbit is a Berlin-based DJ, producer and live artist known for his high-BPM, hypnotic take on minimal techno. With a sound built on fast-paced grooves, stripped-back rhythms, and a murky, driving atmosphere, Danny crafts dancefloor tools that lock you in without overwhelming — club music designed for movement and energy first, with emotion unfolding over time.
Originally raised in the UAE, Danny’s musical roots go back to age eight, when he first picked up a guitar. By 15, he was DJing house parties in Dubai, blending hip hop, trap and early electronic influences.
A move to Istanbul introduced him to club culture more directly, and his first taste of performing in a techno club sparked his interest in production. It wasn’t until a trip to Bassiani in 2020 — and a set from Marcel Dettmann — that he fully found his sonic direction. Inspired, he ran back to his hotel room, opened Ableton, and began shaping the style that now defines his work.
Today, Danny describes his sound as rhythmic, minimal, and fast — typically around 146–148 BPM — combining softer kicks with high tempos to create a uniquely elastic and propulsive feel. His music leans toward the raw and hypnotic, with textures that pull you in without clutter. Whether through DJ sets or his growing live performances, he brings a distinctive intensity and groove that’s earned him attention across the European techno scene.
In 2023, Danny relocated to Berlin to take the next step in his career. While the clubs were a draw, he says it’s the city’s mood — grey skies, moody streets, a cinematic stillness — that has shaped his creative energy. It’s a feeling you can hear in his music: dark, focused, but always moving forward.

Danny’s live set reflects that same ethos of control and flexibility. Built around an MPC One+ and Octatrack, his current setup allows him to create full tracks live, layering percussion, synth textures, and FX in real-time. He’s open about his process and recently filmed a full production masterclass with SINE, breaking down his workflow for aspiring producers. “I’m self-taught,” he says. “I’ve got nothing to hide — if someone can learn something from what I do, I’m happy to share it.”
Though rooted in techno, Danny draws inspiration from outside the club — deep dubstep, drum and bass, jungle, and ’90s hip hop are all regular listening. “When I started out, I listened only to the kind of techno I wanted to make. Now that I’ve found my sound, I look outward.”
He’s not one to chase hype or posturing — more often found in the studio than on social media — but he makes time for artists he respects. Freddy K is a must-see, as are peers like Alarico and Chlar. Favourite venues include RSO (“it feels like a studio”), Blitz, and Tresor, and his first major festival set — in Paris, in front of thousands — remains a personal highlight.
Danny is prolific and internationally recognised producer. He has released on labels including Canticle Records and Drawner Records in Paris ONI Records in Istanbul and Influenced Records in London
His name, like his music, came together from instinct and evolution. Starting out as DJ Webbit (a play on “wub-wub” and “rabbit” from his dubstep days), the name stuck, eventually morphing into Danny Wabbit — a mix of humour and history that now anchors a serious and respected voice in modern techno.
Whether behind decks, in the studio, or performing live, Danny Wabbit’s mission is clear: to make honest, functional, physical music that moves bodies and clears minds — one groove at a time.
