Stef de Haan is many things: half of Cybersex, co-founder of De Reünie in Amsterdam where CRYME is resident, long term friend of SEVEN and an insanely prolific producer. Over the last five years he has released over 200 tracks! That’s not far off one a week for a whole five years!! And he has done it all solo – producing, mastering, artwork, releasing, promoting all by hinmself as self-releases.
SEVEN7009 “Ataraxia” is out 27th February 2026
That is, until now, as we are so proud to announce that this week we release SEVEN7009 “Ataraxia” by Stef de Haan. It’s a stunning EP with remixes by Perra Inmunda and Danny Wabbit who are also making their debuts on SEVEN. Released this Friday 27th February 2026 as SEVEN7009 on 12″ Black Vinyl and a special limited edition SEVEN7009LTD on a beautiful white vinyl in a custom sleeve with a pull out 60cm x 90cm poster inside the vinyl.

ἀταραξία (“Ataraxia”) is a concept from ancient Greek philosophy describing a state of inner calm, a freedom from anxiety and sorrow, guided by a life of reason.
With this release, Stef de Haan reflects on this idea and ventures into territories beyond his usual sound, moving from a garage stepper to minimal techno, alongside two remixes – all approached with a fresh, modern take on music production.
A1 – Stef de Haan – 1 More Time Selecta
Stef de Haan opens his EP with “1 More Time Selecta”, a garage stepper built around a sweet, dreamy vocal melody. Classic synth stabs and vocal chops sit on top of a deep, reese bass that drives the track forward.
A2 – Stef de Haan – Dance Tool
Tooly minimal techno made for the afters. “Dance Tool” is built around laid-back percussion grooves and subtle synth elements with short decay times, unfolding around vocal fragments and contrasted by heavy-hitting, distorted cymbals. A must-have tool for every DJ bag.
A3 – Stef de Haan – Dance Tool (Perra Inmunda’s The Way You Move Rework)
Berlin-based Perra Inmunda delivers a sexy rework of Dance Tool, leaning toward late-90s progressive house with a touch of baile funk. Known for pushing genre boundaries, their sound fuses influences from Colombian roots with European club culture, blending melodic house elements with the punchy, rhythmic foundation of Latin drums. A proper anthem for the dance floor.
B1 – Stef de Haan – Make the Club Shake with This
A dark, driving techno slapper built for the club. Big kick, bass and clap combo paired with minimalist synth work, designed to do exactly what the title promises: “Make the Club Shake with This.”
**B2 – Stef de Haan – 1 More Time Selecta (Danny Wabbit Remix)
**Danny Wabbit brings his signature sound to the EP with a reinterpretation of “1 More Time Selecta.” Slightly faster, with more hats and extra crunch, yet just as emotional as the original. Washed-out synths and distant vocals create a sense of longing. A techno track that slowly gets under your skin.

Ataraxia is a special release for Stef de Haan and a special release for SEVEN. It is his first ever label release, his first release on Vinyl plus it marks the first time that remix artists Perra Inmunda and Danny Wabbit have joined SEVEN. With the music mastered perfectly by Isabel Schröer at Scape Mastering in Berlin, all that was left was to finish off this release with two very special Vinyl releases with special artwork.

The Black Vinyl edition is limited to 300 copies and comes in a beautiful sleeve designed by SEVEN’s in-house designer Milla Barbenara.
Milla has been with SEVEN right from the start and her designs have presented every single release. SEVEN7009 could have been a challenge as Stef de Haan is an artist himself and is used to making all of his own artwork for his self releases. But when Milla came up with the artwork design Stef loved it immediately.
It is presented on the Black Vinyl Edition in a beautiful 5 colour print including a spot-Pantone neon overprint. With full colour inner sleeve.
SEVEN7009LTD Coloured Vinyl Edition with pull out 60cm x 90cm Poster
Stef de Haan is a visual artist and painter as well as a musician. So we loved the idea of including a pull out poster of one of his original artworks in every copy of SEVEN7009LTD.
SEVEN7009LTD is limited to 200 copies and is a beautiful white vinyl in a custom outer sleeve. The Ataraxia design from the black vinyl release is complemented by a Pantone Neon Green overprint.
Both editions come complete with free download codes for a high quality digital download from Bandcamp so you can enjoy the music on Vinyl and on digital.
