About this record

Parisian producer Vitess's debut solo EP on French deep house label Happiness Therapy, limited press from 2019. Three originals plus an Armless Kid remix across this tightly curated 12 inch.

Est / Ouest sits firmly in that considered, minimal deep house territory - the kind of record that rewards patience and repeated listening. Vitess constructs these pieces with restraint, letting space and texture do the heavy lifting rather than chasing instant gratification. This is house music that breathes.

Happiness Therapy has built a quiet reputation for releasing exactly this sort of music: resourceful, unpretentious deep house from the French underground. Limited original copies only.
